Furnace not firing? Start here.
Most no-heat calls trace back to one of five things: a dirty flame sensor, a cracked or dirty igniter, a stuck inducer motor, a bad pressure switch, or a clogged condensate drain on high- efficiency units. Our trucks carry those parts. If yours is one of those five, we’re usually in and out the same visit.
The less-common failures
Gas valve: intermittent failures diagnosed with manifold pressure testing. We confirm before we replace. Control board: we carry common replacements on the truck. Heat exchanger cracks: we pull the blower and show you the actual crack, never condemn an exchanger off a hunch. Blower motor: bearing failures, capacitor failures, and ECM control modules all diagnosable on the first visit.
When safety steps in front of repair
If your furnace sets off a CO alarm or we find a damaged heat exchanger, we shut the unit down until it’s safe. We don’t finesse a cracked heat exchanger. We tell you, we show you, we give you the quote to fix or replace, and we don’t light the pilot back up until it’s resolved.
What sets this furnace repair job apart.
Trucks carry the five most-common furnace failure parts, so most repairs get done on the first visit.
Manifold gas pressure testing on every no-heat call. We diagnose before we replace.
Heat-exchanger condemnations only after we pull the blower and show you the crack.
We diagnose first, then quote the repair in writing before any work starts.

furnace repair, quick answers.
- Almost certainly. Tempstar, Carrier, Trane, Lennox, Bryant, Goodman, Rheem, American Standard, York: the mainstream residential brands are all in our lane.
- Usually one of: oversized unit (original sizing was wrong), dirty flame sensor, clogged condensate drain, or a failing pressure switch. We diagnose on the first visit.
- We tell you. If a furnace under 12 years old needs a moderate repair, we usually recommend the repair. If it's 15+ years old and the repair is a meaningful fraction of a replacement, we'll walk you through the replacement math instead.
